Summary
Join Pagos as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and play a key role in scaling our outbound operations. You will generate leads, develop outbound messaging and prospecting strategies, and drive product interest. Collaborate closely with the Business Development Lead and Commercial team to identify target accounts and execute outreach. Your contributions will significantly impact pipeline growth and shape future outbound practices. This role requires a strong track record in enterprise BDR within payments or fintech, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions. You will be responsible for crafting prospect lists, creating outreach materials, proactively identifying new customers, refining outbound messaging, and supporting lead generation at events. The ideal candidate will possess creativity, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to experiment with new strategies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of enterprise BDR experience within payments and/or fintech with a track record of success
- Ability to understand complex technical and business requirements and translate them to practical and pragmatic solutions
- Strong skills in account research, lead sourcing, and crafting relevant messaging
- Familiarity with Account Based Marketing/Account Based Sales Practices
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to garner interest around a new product category
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and a proactive, “no task is too small” attitude
- Creativity and openness to experimenting with new strategies, tools, and events
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to craft prospect lists and outbound strategy to engage potential customers
- Research and create outreach materials for targeted accounts, both sales-directed and self-sourced
- Proactively identify, source, and prospect new customers on your own to then distribute round-robin style to the Sales team
- Refine outbound messaging and processes to continuously improve prospecting outcomes
- Support lead generation at events, conferences, and webinars, managing the full event lifecycle
- Handle inbound leads and close deals for the Parrot product
- Execute on existing strategies for generating leads while experimenting with new ideas for lead generation
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive in-person prospecting experience (e.g. conferences, dinners, events)
- Experience working remote and with distributed teams
- Willingness and ability to travel
