Summary

Join our client, a rapidly expanding HR technology company, as their new Business Development Representative (BDR)! This fully remote position (9 AM - 5 PM PST) focuses on driving new business opportunities through inbound and outbound prospecting. You will manage cold calling, email outreach, and lead qualification, while utilizing HubSpot for CRM and pipeline management. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of outbound sales experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in HubSpot. This role offers the chance to significantly impact revenue growth within a dynamic and high-performing sales environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in outbound sales, lead generation, and/or business development
  • Strong cold calling experience, with the ability to engage and qualify leads effectively
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM for email sequences, pipeline management, and reporting
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal), with excellent communication skills
  • Strong email copywriting skills, able to craft engaging and effective email sequences and follow-ups
  • Creative thinker with experience in A/B testing outreach strategies
  • Familiar with Slack for lead monitoring and ingestion into CRM
  • Energetic, charismatic, and highly motivated to drive new business
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills
  • Self-starter, eager to take ownership of outreach efforts and refine sales strategies

Responsibilities

  • Manage cold calling and dialing efforts to engage both warm inbound leads and outbound prospects
  • Qualify leads and schedule 3-4 sales appointments per week
  • Create and manage email follow-ups and outreach sequences in HubSpot
  • Experiment with personalized sequences, subject lines, and messaging variations to optimize response rates
  • Develop follow-up presentations and email templates to nurture prospects through the pipeline
  • Maintain and update HubSpot CRM, tracking lead activity, conversions, and pipeline metrics
  • Monitor Slack channels for incoming leads, ensuring they are properly ingested into HubSpot
  • Track conversion results and key sales metrics, providing regular updates on outreach effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Canva (or similar) for presentation and email template design
