Business Development Representative

Summary

The job is for a Business Development Representative at Protex AI, a VC-backed technology company. The role involves generating new business opportunities through prospecting and handling leads, educating prospects about the product, collaborating with Account Executives, and representing the company at conferences and events.

Requirements

• 1-3 years Customer-Facing experience
• Confidence to make decisions independently, use sound judgement, & accept feedback
• Genuine curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo
• Persistence in achieving goals and targets despite challenges
• Strong verbal & written communication skills with external clients and internal team members
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to drive significant results
• Technological competence, with a preference for experience in the SaaS business model, tech sales, or using software sales technology
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of leads through prospecting and handling marketing-generated leads
• Educate prospects on the Protex AI solution, identify good fits through detailed qualification calls, and create new opportunities for Account Executives
• Collaborate with Account Executives on strategic account plans and sales opportunities
• Be friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in every interaction with potential customers
• Play an active role in developing and improving processes for the entire BDR team. Creative ideas are welcome!
• Represent Protex AI at conferences, expos, and other key events
