Reporting to the Manager of Business Development, you will collaborate with a team to focus on customer needs and build a pipeline of potential customers. You will build prospects through various channels, including phone, email, and LinkedIn. This role requires 1+ years of sales and lead generation experience, a process-oriented mindset, and experience in cold-calling. Success in this position involves hitting and exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate will also possess CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot).

Responsibilities

  • Build pipeline by initiating conversation and building relationships with potential customers through a mix of phone calls, emails, Linkedin messages, in-person events
  • Expect to contact 150-300 new people per week
  • Collaborate with account executives & marketing to create a strategy for driving pipeline within each territory & own the execution of outbound prospecting & inbound lead follow-up
  • Research accounts to identify the right personas including decision-makers and internal champions at target prospects
  • Personalize messaging, qualify interest in Wiz that leads to net new opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud/security sales experience
