Requirements
- Proven experience leading a Business Development, Sales or similar operations team within a rapidly-growing company in a Team Lead or Manager role for at least 2 years
- Proven experience in business development, sales, sourcing , data analysis or a related role
- Ability to analyze market data, financial reports, and other relevant information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are a flexible team player, and enjoy working on a diverse team
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Familiarity with CRM software and other business development tools
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of Business Development Associates who will be conducting detailed market research, identifying new business opportunities and market trends and enriching leads for SDR
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team and track teamβs performance as per set KPIs/OKRs
- Becoming an expert of the Deel product offerings, so that you can enable Business Development Associates to deliver effective leads and enriched accounts to our stakeholders
- Serving as a point of contact for collaborations with SDR teams, establishing performance and quality standards of BDA processes
- Qualifying leads by assessing their needs, budget, and decision-making processes
- Working closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to align business development strategies
- Providing feedback and insights to help improve products and services
- Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies
- Assist with drafting business processes, making sure that there is an alignment between all stakeholders on the client research
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
- Providing training, feedback, and coaching to the Business Development associates for continuous learning and development
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sales related tools (like Salesforce)
- You have experience working with stakeholders and team members from multiple countries and across multiple time zones
- You have experience working on a remote team
- You have experience working at a high growth start-up or scale up
- Fintech or HR tech experience
