Join WorkMotion as a Business Development Representative (BDR) Team Lead and lead a team focused on generating high-quality sales leads for our Employer of Record (EoR) SaaS platform. This role requires strong leadership skills, experience in business development or sales, and excellent communication skills in German and English. Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to prospecting and outreach
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Business Development Representatives
- Ensure the BDR team meets or exceeds targets for pipeline creation
- Work closely with Account Executives to ensure high-quality lead handovers and maintain alignment on what constitutes a qualified lead
- Work closely with the Sales Enablement team to ensure that the BDRs are using the latest tools, resources, and methodologies effectively (e.g., HubSpot, Cognism, ChatGPT and other relevant tools)
- Provide strategic leadership on sales targets, insights, and feedback to the marketing and sales teams based on market trends, outreach success, and prospect responses
- Track, analyse, and report on key BDR performance metrics such as call volumes, email outreach, qualified opportunities, and pipeline growth. Provide clear data-driven insights and improvement strategies
- Analyse and optimise outbound sequences, messaging, and target account strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates
- Engage in daily outbound activities, including prospecting calls and email outreach, to stay connected with market trends and demonstrate best practices to the team
- Facilitate continuous training sessions focused on outbound sales techniques, product knowledge, and communication skills
- Implement and refine outbound outreach processes, ensuring that sequences, workflows, and CRM practices are consistent and effective
- Work with Sales Campaign Managers to leverage data mining, lead enrichment, and list-building efforts, optimising lead generation strategies
- Collaborate with the sales operations and marketing teams to ensure the seamless execution of campaigns, initiatives, and alignment on target market segments
