Business Operations Manager

Summary

Join Deel as a Business Operations Manager and optimize business processes, ensuring seamless operations across departments. Analyze operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions aligning with Deel's mission. Your leadership will enhance productivity and foster a culture of excellence. You will execute Deel's global expansion strategy, manage top business priorities, create data-driven recommendations, and improve processes at scale. Collaborate with product and development teams, support strategic goal setting, and maintain organizational tools. This role reports to the Associate Director of Expansion Operations.

Requirements

• Have 2-8+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment
• Have previous experience in at least one of the following: fast growth startup, BizOps role in tech, top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or private equity
• Have a solid track record of achievement - e.g. had success in a top tier company, delivered quantifiable business impact, quickly assumed responsibilities or won competitive awards
• Can break complex problems into smaller, actionable solution steps
• Have a strong analytical foundation with ability to manipulate and synthesize data
• Are curious by nature and interested in making an impact
• Have excellent written and verbal communication in English
• You're passionate about the future of work
• You have advanced working knowledge of SQL
• You love working with data
• You have experience building consumer/business facing products where you have to think about customer experience and growth
• You have worked in multiple countries, cultures, and places

Responsibilities

• Executing on the Deel's global expansion strategy across operations, products, and new markets
• End-to-end project management on top business priorities including identifying opportunities, scoping projects, and driving cross-functional implementation
• Creating data driven recommendations by accessing, analyzing, and synthesizing large data sets
• Problem solving and solution implementation
• Process design and improvement, particularly for operations at scale
• Working with the product and development teams to drive high impact improvements
• Supporting strategic goal setting and performance management
• Creating and maintaining existing processes, workflows, and organizational tools
