Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a communications role
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Established contacts within the media industry and experience managing media relations
• Highly organized with strong project management abilities
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across various departments
• Proficiency in digital and social media platforms, as well as familiarity with communication tools and software

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with Underdog Fantasy’s goals and objectives
• Draft internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, serving as the primary point of contact for press inquiries and media relations
• Coordinate public relations efforts, including press releases, media kits, and event planning
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote company products and initiatives through various channels
• Act as a liaison between the Head of Communications and other departments, ensuring seamless communication and project coordination
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team
