Compliance Manager - Risk and Operational Governance

Summary

Join Datacom as their Compliance Manager, Risk and Operational Governance and play a crucial role in maintaining organizational integrity and accountability. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulations, standards, and policies, monitoring compliance, implementing governance frameworks, and promoting ethical behavior. This involves managing, assessing, and reporting on day-to-day compliance, assisting various teams in addressing compliance issues, and ensuring risk assurance through control, analysis, and reporting. You will design, implement, and develop compliance policies and frameworks, collaborate with delivery teams, and act as an integration point between customers, Datacom teams, and vendors. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and at least 5 years' experience with ITIL processes and 2+ years in a Compliance Management/Risk Governance role. Australian citizenship and a Government NV1 Security Clearance are mandatory.

• Have at least 5 years' experience with ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management and Continuous Improvement processes
• Have at least 2+ years’ experience working in a Compliance Management / Risk Governance role
• Be an Australian Citizen with a Government NV1 Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Manage, assess, and report on Datacom’s day-to-day compliance
• Assist Technical Operations Leads, Service Delivery Managers, Security Manager, and Account Managers in addressing compliance issues
• Ensure risk assurance through the control, analysis, treatment, monitoring, and reporting of risks related to core business operations
• Monitor, review, and report on risks, providing recommendations on Datacom guidelines and policies
• Assist in the operational risk reviews, offering advice on assurance mapping, and aiding in the implementation of process improvements
• Design, implement, and develop compliance policies, frameworks, and processes, proactively seeking enhancements to improve service quality and reduce business costs
• Collaborate with delivery teams, formalize action plans, identify gaps, and resolve roadblocks to enhance compliance posture
• Act as the integration point between customers, Datacom teams, and key vendors, ensuring solutions meet customer business needs and challenges
• Ensure Datacom’s contractual obligations are met
• Work on diverse problems requiring data analysis
• Analyze existing operational processes using data analysis, observation, interviews, and policy reviews
