Summary

Join a fast-growing, remote-first startup as their Content Marketer and lead content strategy from the ground up. You will play a key role in establishing the company’s presence in the access management space for Jira users. This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution to significantly grow search visibility and drive qualified leads. You will develop and execute a comprehensive SEO and content marketing strategy, conduct keyword research, manage a content calendar, produce high-quality content, optimize content for search and user experience, build efficient content production workflows, leverage AI tools, update and repurpose existing content, analyze and report on content and SEO metrics, and collaborate with leadership. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in a content marketing role, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment, and a proven track record of driving organic growth.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a content marketing role, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated success in driving organic growth through SEO and content initiatives
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling, technically informed, and SEO-optimized content
  • Experience managing a content roadmap and production process
  • Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote startup setting
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO and content marketing strategy focused on increasing organic traffic, search rankings, and lead generation
  • Conduct detailed keyword research targeting high-intent queries from IT and Security professionals within the Jira ecosystem
  • Manage a content calendar and produce high-quality, technically accurate content including blog posts, landing pages, product comparisons, and case studies
  • Optimize all content for search and user experience using tools such as SurferSEO or similar platforms
  • Build efficient content production workflows, including creating detailed briefs for internal or freelance contributors
  • Leverage AI tools for research and drafting to enhance content development speed without compromising quality
  • Continuously update and repurpose existing content to improve SEO and conversion performance
  • Analyze and report on content and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to refine strategy
  • Collaborate closely with leadership on broader marketing direction and contribute to other initiatives as needed
