Requirements

  • University degree and qualification in Marketing and/or strategic communications
  • Over 10 years of experience in B2C content marketing within large organisations
  • Strong project management skills and proven use of automations to create work efficiencies on platforms such as Monday.com
  • Demonstrated experience using data-driven insights
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt the continuous change
  • Demonstrates a solution focused mindset and ability to problem solve
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and effectively prioritise

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement content strategies that align with business objectives such as lead generation, brand awareness, and revenue growth
  • Ensure content aligns with the buyer journey, leveraging emotional and logical triggers at each stage
  • Utilize data insights and analytics to continuously refine and optimize content performance
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure content initiatives support broader marketing goals
  • Oversee activities of the Content Marketing Coordinators to ensure accurate, engaging and timely website content is developed and executed
  • Oversee and contribute to course guide updates, ensuring content aligns with broader marketing strategies and a consistent tone and brand voice is maintained
  • Leverage technical capability in CMS systems, AI tools and content optimization software for effective content outcomes
  • Utilize project management knowledge and tools to effectively drive content road map
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain brand consistency, accuracy and optimize SEO performance
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and clear direction to empower the Content Marketing Coordinators
  • Demonstrate proactive thinking and critical problem solving in daily activities
  • Demonstrate business etiquette and professional communication skills through ability to effectively engage and influence different audiences
  • Encourage accountability, ownership, and professional growth within the team
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, share insights, and foster innovation
  • Lead the team through transitions including new tools, strategies and processes
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Managers to ensure content aligns with overarching digital strategies
  • Collaborate with Academic team colleagues to ensure that course are accurately reflected on site
  • Champion best practices in digital content marketing and advocate for new technologies and innovations
  • Monitor and analyze content engagement metrics to drive data-informed decision-making
  • Leverage SEO principles, AI tools, and digital marketing analytics to optimize content strategies
  • Identify opportunities for content innovation and stay updated on industry trends
  • Implement and refine content workflows for efficiency and scalability
