Customer Service Agent in Mexico

Summary

The job is for a Customer Service Agent in the home gardening and sustainable agriculture industry, working remotely for a US-based company. The role involves responding to customer inquiries, utilizing established protocols, dealing with post-purchase situations, building relationships with customers, and participating in projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in Customer Service
• High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in CRM software is preferred
• Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a community-first (warm) communication style
• A good ability to learn and understand products
• Interest in growing plants/hydroponics is a huge plus

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by telephone, email, sms, and chat to provide knowledge-based solutions
• Utilize established protocols and guidance from the team leads to resolve complex or unusual requests that may require a customized solution
• Dealing with post-purchase situations
• Analyze each customer’s service needs and execute, escalate, or route to the appropriate internal departments, as needed
• Build relationships with customers by proactively following up on their level of satisfaction with the products and services
• Participate in projects and provide team support as needed
