Requirements

  • Progressive experience in software development with a history of management roles
  • Proven expertise in startup environments within the tech sector
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities
  • A positive attitude, a one-for-all team mentality, and a strong desire to help others
  • Must be located in time zones between UTC-8 and UTC+3

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide the software development process
  • Ensure consistent delivery of value through iterations and project phases
  • Manage the execution of projects and sprints, ensuring on-time delivery and meeting high-quality standards
  • Work closely with product owners and team leads to understand business requirements and help the team execute based on them
  • Facilitate cross-functional scoping, estimation, and feasibility tasks for intended solutions
  • Manage and mitigate high-risk elements of initiatives, effectively communicate issues, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders, escalating where appropriate
  • Develop and support a great team of skilled and motivated engineers, setting clear expectations via constant feedback and 1:1 practices
  • Collaborate with the top management and other delivery managers to engage, develop, and retain talents
  • Set up team members for success by creating growth opportunities and addressing gaps in skills through mentoring and professional development coaching
  • Build a positive and high-performing work environment based on transparency, accountability, and trust

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams' performance using 360ΒΊ feedback, quarterly performance reviews, and OKRs
  • Hands-on experience in utilizing task management and reporting tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Proficient at working with HRIS systems at a management level
