Delivery Manager

Summary

The Delivery Manager is a professional with extensive experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, building great products at scale, and focusing on delivering user value. This individual excels in people management with specialization in software development teams, ensuring alignment of multiple teams with top management, building teams committed to the product goals, and empowering teams' technical decisions based on business and technical requirements. The company is an early-stage startup focused on automation of Asset Management (ITAM) for B2B clients within the physical, digital, and organizational automation space. They are a remote-first, geographically-distributed team open to candidates from around the world.

Requirements

• Progressive experience in software development with a history of management roles
• Proven expertise in startup environments within the tech sector
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and an ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities
• A positive attitude, a one-for-all team mentality, and a strong desire to help others
• Must be located in time zones between UTC-8 and UTC+3

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide the software development process
• Ensure consistent delivery of value through iterations and project phases
• Manage the execution of projects and sprints, ensuring on-time delivery and meeting high-quality standards
• Work closely with product owners and team leads to understand business requirements and help the team execute based on them
• Facilitate cross-functional scoping, estimation, and feasibility tasks for intended solutions
• Manage and mitigate high-risk elements of initiatives, effectively communicate issues, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders, escalating where appropriate
• Develop and support a great team of skilled and motivated engineers, setting clear expectations via constant feedback and 1:1 practices
• Collaborate with the top management and other delivery managers to engage, develop, and retain talents
• Set up team members for success by creating growth opportunities and addressing gaps in skills through mentoring and professional development coaching
• Build a positive and high-performing work environment based on transparency, accountability, and trust

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in managing teams' performance using 360º feedback, quarterly performance reviews, and OKRs
• Hands-on experience in utilizing task management and reporting tools like Jira and Confluence
• Proficient at working with HRIS systems at a management level
