Summary

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years in sales or business development, with a minimum of 5 years in a second-line leadership role
  • Proven Success: A track record of building and scaling outbound sales functions, leading high-performing teams to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Strategic Insight: Deep understanding of outbound sales processes and business development strategies
  • Operational Excellence: Extensive experience in creating scalable processes, cadences, and playbooks for outbound sales motions
  • Talent Development: Proven ability to hire, develop, and promote top talent within a sales organization
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex challenges and devise innovative solutions
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with sales tools like Outreach.io , LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and ZoomInfo
  • Energy & Enthusiasm: A high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a hunter mindset

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop and execute the Business Development strategy, objectives, and roadmap
  • Shape the structure and processes of the Business Development team to support strategic goals
  • Stay current with industry trends to refine and enhance the Business Development strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and external partners
  • Oversee the team’s performance through metrics and reporting, driving productivity and efficiency improvements
  • Implement scalable performance standards, processes, and tools
  • Hire and mentor a diverse team, preparing successors and supporting career development
  • Enhance sales processes and drive productivity through coaching and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with SaaS and cybersecurity industries is a plus
