Summary

Join Velocity Global as the Director of Email Strategy and Marketing and lead the development and execution of email marketing strategies across the entire customer journey. You will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for email marketing, partnering with various teams to deliver targeted, high-performing email programs. Responsibilities include developing and executing lifecycle and nurture programs, implementing robust segmentation strategies, and leveraging data for personalization. You will also define KPIs, monitor performance, and optimize email programs through A/B testing. The role requires expert knowledge of marketing automation platforms and ensuring compliance with email regulations. Eventually, you will grow a high-performing team of email and lifecycle marketers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or CRM roles in B2B SaaS or tech environments
  • Deep knowledge of email marketing best practices, analytics, and automation tools
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot)
  • Proven ability to drive engagement, pipeline, and revenue through strategic email programs
  • Analytical mindset with experience optimizing performance through experimentation
  • Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about customer experience

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for email marketing across the buyer and customer journey
  • Partner with digital, demand generation, product marketing, sales, and customer teams to deliver targeted, high-performing email programs aligned to growth goals
  • Own development and execution of lifecycle and nurture programs for prospects and leads
  • Align and optimize awareness, engagement, product education, consideration and conversion-focused email sequences
  • Implement robust segmentation strategies to deliver relevant messaging at the right time to the right audience
  • Leverage behavioral, demographic, and firmographic data for personalization and dynamic content
  • Define KPIs, monitor performance, and run A/B tests to improve open rates, click-throughs, conversions, and pipeline/revenue impact
  • Partner with analytics to develop dashboards and track campaign ROI and contribution to pipeline
  • Have expert working knowledge of marketing automation platforms i.e. Marketoβ€”to accelerate strategic planning
  • Work with Marketing Operations to implement new tools and workflows to increase efficiency and scale automation
  • Ensure all email programs are GDPR- and CAN-SPAM-compliant
  • Champion email and deliverability best practices across the organization
  • Eventually grow a high-performing team of email and lifecycle marketers
