Summary

Join Motus as their experienced Director of GTM Enablement! You will lead a team in developing and implementing impactful enablement programs for sales, account management, business development, and customer success teams. Responsibilities include crafting onboarding and ongoing training programs, creating sales tools and resources, defining and measuring program outcomes, and mentoring GTM teams. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), 10+ years of relevant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience with consultative selling methodologies. This role offers a competitive salary ($160,000-$170,000), incentive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, and more. Preference is given to Chicago-area residents or those comfortable with frequent travel there.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Leadership, or a related role, with consistent track record of driving sales performance through strategic enablement initiatives
  • A genuine passion for teaching and mentoring, with a talent for making complex ideas simple, engaging, and actionable
  • Experience crafting and delivering training for a variety of formats and audiences
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower, align, and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication skills; experience collaborating with cross-functional business leaders
  • Developed and led in-house commercial methodologies demonstrating proven concepts from Challenger, MEDDICC and other sophisticated consultative selling methodologies
  • Shown success in building and delivering new hire onboarding programs
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team responsible for developing and implementing enablement programs with measurable impact
  • Develop and deliver onboarding programs for new sales, account management, business development, and customer success teams to accelerate ramp to productivity
  • Implement ongoing training programs focused on improving product knowledge, commercial skills, and the effective use of required tools and systems
  • Craft programs that engage and encourage employees, delivering a combination of live training, e-learning, and self-paced resources to cater to diverse learning needs
  • Coordinate the creation and curation of sales tools, playbooks, scripts, and other resources, ensuring content is accessible, relevant, and up-to-date, demonstrating the use of technology platforms
  • Define and measure the outcomes of enablement programs and align them with strategic business objectives and established goals and achievements
  • Build, curate, and continuously refine a library of sales collateral, playbooks, job aids, and other relevant resources that are applied routinely in the day-to-day
  • Leverage prior experience with Challenger and/or MEDDICC (and other consultative selling methodologies) to embed demand creation strategies, qualification techniques, and pipeline management standards across our pre- and post-sale processes and motions
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and reinforcement to GTM teams to improve their selling skills, product knowledge, and understanding of customer needs
  • Facilitate workshops, role-playing sessions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to champion a culture of continuous learning
  • Partner with Product Marketing to align messaging, product launches, and sales collateral with the needs of the sales organization

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who reside in the Chicago area or candidates who are comfortable with frequent travel to Chicago
