Requirements

  • 8+ years in brand marketing, editorial, content strategy, or communications roles, ideally with a mix of in-house and agency experience
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of brand and campaign work
  • Proven track record of building and scaling brand strategies and narratives
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, start-up environment
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams and levels

Responsibilities

  • Lead the evolution of Pacasoโ€™s brand strategy, positioning, and messaging to strengthen brand equity and awareness
  • Partner with Creative and Product Marketing to ensure cohesive storytelling across campaigns, content, and experiences
  • Own and evolve Pacasoโ€™s brand voice and editorial guidelines
  • Oversee brand copywriting across web, email, social, advertising, video, and product surfaces
  • Manage external copywriters, content creators, and editorial partners
  • Lead concepting and execution of brand-level campaigns that elevate Pacaso in the hearts and minds of consumers and media
  • Partner with PR, Performance Marketing, and local teams to deliver campaigns that are both creative and high-performing
  • Oversee PR strategy and execution in partnership with internal and agency teams
  • Develop thought leadership and executive visibility platforms, including messaging frameworks, speeches, op-eds, and ghostwritten content
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on external communications, media engagements, and public appearances for senior leadership
  • Lead brand response strategy and messaging during sensitive or high-impact events
  • Partner with Legal, Communications, and Executive teams to ensure timely, transparent, and aligned communications during crisis moments
  • Identify and activate strategic brand partnerships, sponsorships, and cultural moments that reinforce brand relevance
  • Collaborate with social, design, and PR to bring ideas to life
  • Manage a small, high-performing brand team
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Growth, Sales, Design, Legal, and PR teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with luxury, travel, real estate, or lifestyle brands preferred
