Summary

Join Riverside Insights as the Director of Partnerships (West) and lead the charge in driving transformative growth within the western territory. As a strategic sales leader, you will guide a high-performing sales team to exceed revenue targets, build strong client relationships, and align sales efforts with the company's mission. You will develop and execute sales strategies, coach and mentor your team, and ensure sales objectives are met. This role offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth, lead and develop a high-performing team, and collaborate across the organization. The position requires 3+ years of sales experience and 2+ years of sales leadership experience, a bachelor's degree, and proven success in achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will also possess strong coaching skills, proficiency with CRM platforms, and experience in the K-12 education market.

Requirements

  • 3+ years successful rep-level sales experience and 2+ years Sales Leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience achieving or exceeding sales targets through renewals, cross-sells, and upsells in K-12 education markets
  • Expertise in strategic sales planning and driving disciplined sales processes across distributed teams
  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms for accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and key account planning
  • Effective coaching skills to support high rep activity levels and consistent execution of in-person meetings with key district decision-makers
  • Ability to hold reps accountable for pipeline performance, timely follow-ups, and alignment with strategic goals
  • Proven leadership in performance management, including implementing development plans and conducting effective 360 feedback for continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth across key K–12 districts through strategic renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and expansions—delivering impact for schools while exceeding ambitious team goals
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, providing strategic coaching, clear expectations, and individualized support to elevate performance and fuel career growth
  • Foster a culture of accountability and discipline, ensuring full adoption of CRM tools and consistent execution of key sales processes, from meeting notes to key account planning
  • Engage directly with district leadership, guiding your team to build trusted relationships and secure high-value meetings with cabinet-level decision-makers
  • Optimize pipeline performance and forecasting accuracy, using data to track progress, identify opportunities, and drive consistent month-over-month growth
  • Take decisive action on performance management, coaching reps through structured development plans and addressing underperformance with urgency and clarity
  • Collaborate across the organization to align sales strategy with marketing, product, and executive leadership—ensuring a unified approach to market expansion

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in K-12 education as a teacher or administrator, with strong knowledge and understanding of Western USA educational initiatives preferred
