Summary

Requirements

  • 8+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in high-growth startups, ideally in crypto, fintech, or blockchain
  • Strong understanding of technical and non-technical hiring (engineering, marketing, product, etc.)
  • Proven track record of scaling teams and leading recruitment in a competitive talent market
  • Deep knowledge of the Web3 ecosystem, blockchain, DeFi, and emerging crypto trends
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to hiring
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Develop and execute a strategic recruiting plan to attract top talent across the entire business
  • Build and lead a high-performing recruiting team, fostering a data-driven and proactive hiring culture
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to position Ava Labs as a top destination for Web3 talent
  • Streamline and scale hiring processes, ensuring efficiency, diversity, and an outstanding candidate experience
  • Partner closely with leadership, people team, and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and prioritize roles
  • Leverage data and analytics to optimize sourcing strategies and improve hiring outcomes
  • Develop strong pipelines of crypto-native and blockchain-savvy candidates
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring we attract the best talent in Web3

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience hiring globally and navigating international talent markets
  • Strong network within the crypto and Web3 space
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse as an ATS platform
  • Experience with employer branding and community engagement
