Summary

NAPAWF is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Strategy and Evaluation to lead the organization in setting evidence-based targets, tracking progress, evaluating results, and fostering a culture of learning and accountability. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Chief Program and Strategy Officer to design and implement a coordinated and comprehensive strategy, learning, and evaluation framework that advances NAPAWF's mission and maximizes its advocacy, communications, and organizing impact.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Administration, Public Policy, or related field (preferred)
  • 7-10 years of experience in implementing strategy, evaluation, and learning, with a focus on programmatic impact assessment and performance measurement (required)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with program teams to articulate clear and compelling theories of change that outline how specific interventions will lead to desired outcomes
  • Initiate and oversee the development of a comprehensive framework for setting impact targets that push the organization toward greater levels of effectiveness and reach
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather insights and ensure that targets are realistic, measurable, and directly aligned with NAPAWF's overarching strategic priorities and mission
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to establish benchmarks and create a clear roadmap for achieving strategic goals
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing data and research to identify key areas for improvement and growth within the organization
  • Engage stakeholders, including staff, and community partners, in the target-setting process to ensure buy-in and shared commitment to achieving ambitious goals
  • Create and drive a results-based monitoring, evaluation, and learning culture within the organization
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework to track progress towards goals and objectives
  • Establish systems and protocols for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to measure impact and outcomes
  • Facilitate regular review and reflection sessions to assess progress, identify lessons learned, and make course corrections as needed
  • Ensure that evaluation findings are utilized to inform decision-making and improve programmatic effectiveness

Benefits

  • The annual salary range for this position is $83,000-$125,000 - salary commensurate with experience
