Summary

The job is for a Sales and Business Development role in the Software/SaaS industry. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, a proven track record of sales success, and previous technical sales experience (preferred). Responsibilities include lead development, direct selling, identifying opportunities, categorizing and filtering leads, and setting up sales representatives for productive engagements.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of sales success demonstrated by consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Previous sales experience. (Ideally this would be in mainland Europe and/or Southern European countries.)
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written with precise attention to detail
  • Must be able to develop and maintain a quality pipeline
  • Must be able to manage and close deals both directly and working with partners
  • Detailed understanding of a software solution sales process
  • Technically adept and able to quickly assimilate technical solutions
  • Strong networking skills and awareness of other working practices/cultures
  • A strong team player across the related internal business functions
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues and partners at all levels in a confident and effective manner
  • Experience of working in competitive and changing environments, and/or with US owned companies

Responsibilities

  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a monthly basis
  • Learn Software products and conduct discovery calls, presentations, and demos with prospects and customers
  • Respond to a large number of inbound leads and existing customers
  • Continue to build pipeline of new business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with accounts in your book of business
  • Be the voice of the customer; understand their needs and make them champions
  • Track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce
  • Some localization of select sales and marketing campaigns/events

Preferred Qualifications

Previous technical sales experience

Full-time role - 40-hrs/week UK business hours, Monday - Friday
