Event Planner Intern

Summary

Join Vosyn's AI Venture Lab as an Event Planner Intern and contribute to a dynamic AI incubator in Etobicoke. This 520-hour internship (full-time or part-time) offers hands-on experience organizing investment-related events, engaging stakeholders, and conducting market research. You will collaborate with senior leaders, develop event reports, and stay updated on industry trends. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time roles after graduation. The internship offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement (remote or 2-3 days a week on-site in Toronto) and a competitive hourly rate of $32. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and event planning skills, along with a passion for AI and business.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or completed a Master’s in business, event management, hospitality or related fields
• Demonstrated interest or academic background in event planning, stakeholder engagement, hospitality or related fields
• Excellent planning and organizational skills to coordinate events smoothly
• Strong verbal and written communication, with an ability to connect effectively with diverse audiences
• Enthusiasm for the intersections of technology, finance, and event planning

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate investment-related events, from logistics to scheduling and participant engagement, in alignment with our strategic goals
• Facilitate interactions with investors, partners, and team members, ensuring a collaborative environment that supports the AI Venture Lab’s growth
• Perform research to inform event themes, content, and strategy, connecting our initiatives with industry trends and business objectives
• Develop event reports and presentations with the team, showcasing outcomes and providing insights to stakeholders
• Stay current with trends in event planning, investment, and AI technology, enhancing both your skills and Vosyn’s competitive edge
