Requirements
- Experience in an executive assistant role or similar (3+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in office management software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace)
- Familiarity with project management tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Notion, Asana, Slack)
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure
- A 'second-brain' mentality, with a focus on anticipating and preemptively addressing the needs of the executive
- Comfortable with a high degree of autonomy and decision-making authority
- An over-communicator who thrives in a remote working environment and understands the value of excessive transparency in this setting
Responsibilities
- Act as a proxy for the executive, managing communication and decision-making processes
- Maintain and manage the executive's schedule, ensuring efficient time management and prioritization of tasks
- Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity, representing the executive's interests
- Continuously seek innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Proactively identify areas of improvement and propose creative strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Take the initiative to start and complete projects with minimal guidance, demonstrating high independence and resourcefulness
- Over-communicate plans, thoughts, and actions to the executive team
- Work collaboratively with other assistants and team members to ensure a cohesive approach to task management
- Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and feedback to improve overall team performance
