Summary

The job is for a Field Service Engineer at CPM Holdings' Crown division. The role involves providing technical support for the installation and operation of new equipment, performing inspections, preventative maintenance planning, and quality control. The ideal candidate should have an associate degree or equivalent, 5+ years of mechanical experience, and relevant skills.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent to a two-year College or technical school
• 5 plus year’s mechanical experience in equipment fabrication, installation and/or checkout and startup
• Experience in one or more of the following skills: Millwright work, Welding, inspection, Rigging, Field repair, Oilseeds Plant Operations

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and customers in the erection and installation of new Crown process equipment, provide technical assistance and training to customers for mechanical/process operation of Crown process equipment
• Provides Inspection Services, Preventative Maintenance Planning, and Shutdown planning for Crown customers
• Support other Crown Field Services Segments (Process Optimization, Training, and Automation)
• Perform fabricated equipment inspections in support of the global Crown quality control program

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to interpret equipment drawings and schematics is an essential skill
• Demonstrated limited experience in collaborating with cross-functional team, creating values for end customers, and driving operational excellence within areas of responsibility
• Self manages; takes initiative and able to collaborate across geographies and functions in a matrixed environment
• Ability to train and teach others
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors
• High integrity and ethics
• Must be able to communicate in English fluently. Ability to communicate in a second language – European or Asian languages preferred but not required
• Preferred knowledge in AutoCad
• Knowledge of computers and applications, such as Microsoft Office
