Global Insurance Specialist

Summary

Join KOSTAL Group, a global family-owned company, as their Global Insurance Specialist. Support the Global Head of Insurance, ensuring seamless operations across various insurance products and processes. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily operations and strategic planning, collaborating with brokers and providers, acting as the main contact for insurance issues, providing expert support to internal teams, managing global claims, maintaining broker relationships, overseeing policy management and process improvements, and handling diverse insurance products. The role requires 2-3 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of insurance products and practices, fluency in English, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and experience with Excel. Preferred qualifications include a higher education degree, experience with multinational clients, and knowledge of international liability and property damage insurance programs. Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in an insurance broker, insurer, or corporate environment
• Strong understanding of insurance products and practices
• Fluent in English (written & spoken); German is a plus
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Experience with Excel and managing multiple priorities
• Negotiation and contracting experience with brokers/insurers

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and strategic planning
• Collaborate with brokers, providers, and leadership on insurance matters
• Be the main contact for all insurance-related issues worldwide
• Provide expert support for internal teams, understanding needs and offering tailored solutions
• Manage global claims for KOSTAL Group, ensuring efficient resolution
• Maintain relationships with insurance brokers to ensure optimal coverage
• Oversee insurance policy management and continuous process improvements
• Handle a range of insurance products: Property Damage, Liability, Cargo, D&O, and more

Preferred Qualifications

• Higher education degree
• Experience with multinational clients or in a corporate environment
• Knowledge of international Liability and Property Damage insurance programs
