Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or federal marketing certifications are a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B growth marketing, with at least 5+ years in the federal government sector
  • Relationships with key decision makers and influencers in federal agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of federal procurement processes, regulations, compliance requirements, and buyer personas in government agencies
  • Proven track record of developing and executing high-impact, multi-channel campaigns within complex, compliance-heavy environments
  • A thorough understanding of what content is needed at each funnel stage in order to drive pipeline, build trusted client relationships and conversions
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using marketing analytics and CRM tools to optimize strategies (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities and presentation skills; experience working closely with sales, content, and product teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Deepen Yurts understanding of a federal customer’s path to conversion and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success to launch multi-channel campaigns to attract and convert federal leads
  • Partner with sales on lifecycle marketing strategies to convert inbounds and retain customers. Align marketing efforts with sales goals and provide them with the necessary tools and resources
  • Strengthening our brand within the federal market through strategic branding initiatives
  • Implement strategies to acquire new federal customers and expand existing relationships
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI, and manage marketing budgets
  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals
  • Adhere to federal regulations and industry best practices
  • Forge strong relationships with industry partners and government organizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding and interest in generative AI and its applications
  • Expertise in marketing automation tools
  • Knowledge of federal government contracting and procurement processes
  • Experience with security compliance (FISMA, FedRAMP) and ensuring regulatory adherence
  • Proficiency in account-based marketing (ABM) strategies for federal agencies
  • Familiarity with federal contracting platforms, industry networks, and professional associations
