Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales in the insurance industry
  • 10+ years in leadership; including building a team
  • Must have insurance connections; 5+ years’ experience with either an insurance carrier or insurance solution provider; experience in selling solutions for risk and underwriting; mover and property data experience a plus
  • Experience leading a team that consistently exceeds sales goals
  • Strong sales prospecting, negotiating, and closing abilities
  • Strong commercial instinct and entrepreneurial drive
  • Outstanding communication skills – in both written and oral presentation - influencing and relationship building skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Solid decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong propensity to take initiative and thrive with change
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or similar

Responsibilities

  • Bring strategic vision to work with other senior leaders to define and articulate a compelling yet achievable strategic vision
  • Build a team of high-performance sales executives and develop a strategic sales plan
  • Own revenue growth in the insurance vertical through building relationships with key prospects, leading deal negotiations with enterprise clients, and ultimately owning all new client acquisition
  • Deliver against monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Collaborate with executive-level insurance industry leaders to establish Porch Group Media as a leader and innovator in the insurance vertical
  • Lead the participation in key industry events, conferences, speaking opportunities, etc
  • Join the Porch Group Data and Marketing Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic guidance and feedback, participating in business planning and LT strategy development
