Requirements
- At least 5 years of proven experience in healthcare operations management, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and a deep understanding of Health Information Management (HIM) practices
- A minimum of 5 years of strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively, including mentoring hourly staff and supervisors for professional growth
- Demonstrated success in leading teams of 30+ members and frontline supervisors
- Experience in P&L management, overseeing budgets of $4M+, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and revenue generation
- Expertise in ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state laws, including HIPAA standards
- Proficiency in managing workflows to guarantee alignment with service contracts
- Coordination experience with site management on complex issues is essential
- Ability to oversee and optimize processes to maintain regulatory adherence while maximizing operational efficiency
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as the primary Account Manager to our customers, ensuring service delivery excellence
- Advanced knowledge of accurate data entry, office equipment, and procedures
- Demonstrated expertise in navigating and utilizing a wide array of data applications and application interfaces
- Proficiency in integrating and managing data across multiple platforms
- Ability to quickly adapt to new software and technologies, ensuring seamless data management and interoperability across diverse systems
- Willingness to travel as needed for multiple purposes, including site visits, operations reviews, and participation in training/development programs
- Ability to conduct thorough operational assessments, implement improvements, and deliver on-site training to enhance team performance and operational efficiency
- Demonstrated adaptability in diverse work environments and commitment to continuous improvement through active engagement in field operations and professional development initiatives
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Vice President of Operations to craft and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and align with Datavantβs overarching goals
- Spearhead continuous improvement efforts by implementing process improvements and leveraging technology to streamline operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Oversee the safeguarding of patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards, internal policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state laws
- Serve as the primary Account Manager for our customers, cultivating strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met
- Own the management of patient health record disclosures, working to delight clients, patients, requesters, and community healthcare providers with the goal to always exceeding expectations
- Mentor hourly staff and the supervisor team to support their professional development, cultivating a high-performing team culture
- Create an environment of accountability and continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Be responsible for P&L management, overseeing a budget of $4M+, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets
- Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure strategic alignment with business objectives and facilitate seamless data integration
- Cultivate communication and cooperation across the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Release of Information (ROI) management, demonstrating your ability to handle sensitive data securely and efficiently
- Hold RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) or RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) credentials, showcasing your expertise in health information management
- Possess a Masterβs degree in Health Information Management (HIM), Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration, or a related field
- Are certified in Six Sigma, indicating your proficiency in process improvement and quality management methodologies
- Have experience with Provider Care Solutions, enhancing your capability to manage healthcare operations effectively
