Summary

Join RTI's dynamic People & Culture team as a People & Culture Assistant and contribute to a positive employee experience. You will support the full employee lifecycle, acting as the primary point of contact for HR questions and assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives. This hybrid role requires fluency in English and Spanish, strong communication skills, and impeccable attention to detail. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for all business communications (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable using Google tools (e.g., Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of professionalism and empathy
  • Outstanding work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability
  • Impeccable attention to detail and fantastic organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance planning efforts with day to day demands
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive and reliable to fellow team members and managers

Responsibilities

  • Respond to employee inquiries: Serve as the primary point of contact for general HR questions, directing employees to the appropriate resources or team members
  • Support the full recruitment lifecycle: This includes posting job openings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, partnering with hiring managers, drafting offers, and ensuring candidates have a positive interview experience
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding: Prepare first-day logistic and training plans, working with managers and our external labor advisor to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires
  • Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team: Maintain updated HR records and/or collaborate in diverse HR projects, including working with vendors, managing information, documentation, and employee communication
  • Support Employee Engagement Initiatives: Benefits administration, recognition programs, employee gifts, etc
  • Be an integral part of the Events Team: Assist in (and sometimes own!) the planning and execution of company-wide onsite and virtual events and programs, wellness challenges, team building activities, perks, to maintain our strong 1RTI culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and LinkedIn
  • Understanding of basic Spanish labor law
  • Experience working in a global or multinational company environment, at least 1 year of experience in an HR or administrative support role
