Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, information systems, or related discipline
- 6+ years of related experience in managing HRIS including 3 years prior leadership experience
- A strong understanding of HR systems architecture with demonstrated advanced knowledge of Workday and HR processes across the employee lifecycle including downstream systems
- Proven ability to solve technical configuration and data integration problems coupled with ability to communicate to stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability and experience translating business needs into written technical business requirements
- Exceptional analytical ability, strong technical, problem solving and business intelligence skills
- Knowledge of security, data privacy regulations, and compliance
- Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills and be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate profound knowledge and hands-on experience with Workday, including implementation of new Workday instances, integrations, business process design, end user experience, and reporting and analytics
- Manage the configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday modules such as core HCM, payroll, benefits, compensation, talent, and performance
- Leads functional discovery and design sessions, including the translation of business requirements into configuration elements and overseeing
- Conduct regular audits adhering to compliance standards, internal controls, data quality, integrity, and security of the HRIS system and comply with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with HR team and serve as the liaison between IT, Internal Audit, and Payroll to understand and deliver technology and reporting ensuring system is fully operational and value is maximized
- Create and maintain training and documentation, including system configurations, workflows, user guides, and training materials
- Drive the delivery of HR metrics in Workday and provide data to end-users to support the organization’s needs
- Stay updated on Workday releases, features, and trends and provide recommendations for system optimization and automation. Responsible for delivering and recommending Workday roadmap of implementation, updates, and changes over the course of the year
- Offers a continuous improvement lens to all processes within the HRIS team and HR Operations; serves as a key people leader on the HRIS team, partnering across HR to deliver streamlined service and great team member care
- Provide leadership, growth, and development to the HRIS team
