Human Resources Assistant

Summary

The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks to support the HR department at ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, preferably with a Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field and 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field (preferred)
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of education
• Proficient in HRIS and other HR software applications with proven experience in an HR administrative role
• Knowledge of HR processes, including new hire onboarding, benefits administration, and employee records management
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
• Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior level HR staff or management
• Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
• May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports
• Collaborate with other departments and managers to ensure the smooth flow of information and documentation
• Provides clerical support to the HR department; receives and distributes office mail; performs other related duties as assigned
