Join Wing and help redefine the future of work! We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Human Resources Assistant to join our remote team. This role involves a wide range of HR responsibilities, from maintaining employee records and assisting with benefits enrollment to supporting recruitment efforts and ensuring HR compliance. You will play a key role in various HR functions, including policy updates, employee engagement initiatives, and onboarding/offboarding processes. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar role and proficiency in HR systems and Google Workspace. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of proven experience as an HR Assistant, Recruitment Coordinator, or similar HR support role
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Calendar) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in administrative work
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong time management, coordination, and multitasking abilities
  • Proactive and eager to learn HR processes and best practices
  • USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature
  • Working Webcam
  • Computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and at least 4GB RAM
  • Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps cable connection
  • Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS platforms and internal databases
  • Prepare HR-related reports such as headcount, turnover, and leave tracking
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and respond to general employee inquiries
  • Help ensure company policies, procedures, and employee handbooks are up to date
  • Support compliance audits by organizing documentation and records
  • Track mandatory training completion and help enforce HR compliance requirements
  • Help coordinate internal HR programs, announcements, and engagement initiatives
  • Support employee feedback surveys and gather data for review
  • Assist with organizing virtual events and recognition activities
  • Assist in preparing new hire documentation and scheduling onboarding sessions
  • Coordinate access to tools, systems, and training for new employees
  • Support exit interview processes and offboarding documentation
  • Draft HR communications, letters, and forms as required
  • Maintain HR files, templates, and documentation securely and confidentially
  • Provide day-to-day support to the HR Manager and Talent Acquisition team
  • Post job openings on internal systems and external job boards
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate candidate communications
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and support the recruitment team with hiring pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with HR systems such as BambooHR, Workday, or similar platforms is a plus
