Requirements

At least 2 years' experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

  • Input all customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Communicate with operations to ensure all appropriate staff are aware of any changes
  • Input data from customer orders into job management system (simPRO)
  • Prepare orders for scheduling
  • Provide daily updates to management
  • Provide management reports weekly and monthly
  • Maintain document control
  • Prepare and record meeting minutes
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
  • Apply data program techniques and procedures
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
  • Keep information confidential
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Respond to incoming emails and pass on to appropriate team members as required
  • Assist with administration as required

  • Experience working in the Logistics industry

  • Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience
  • Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally

  • Time management/organization: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner
