Summary

The Manager, Growth & New Business is responsible for new business activities in a growing healthcare communications agency. Duties include developing RFP responses, coordinating with teams, and managing external visibility initiatives. The ideal candidate has prior experience in an agency setting, strong knowledge of procurement processes, excellent writing skills, high level of organization, and a flexible approach to diverse working styles.

Requirements

  • Prior work experience in an agency setting, working in both pharma/healthcare communications and on new business programs
  • Demonstrated experience developing creative and strategic communications programs for clients in a variety of focus areas
  • Extremely comfortable in a collaborative environment and working closely with all levels of agency and client partners
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and systems
  • Excellent writing and PowerPoint skills; proficiency in other creative tools a plus
  • Extremely high level of organization, project management, resource management, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and execution of all new business initiatives
  • Developing RFP responses
  • Ad hoc recommendation development
  • Ongoing agency visibility initiatives essential to our agencyโ€™s continuing growth and reputational development
  • Collaborating with the Green Room Leadership Team, the Extended Leadership Team and the agencyโ€™s Creative services team
  • Growing existing business through communications about our diverse capabilities
  • Identifying and pursuing new client opportunities
  • Work closely with LT to ensure activities support the agencyโ€™s overall growth strategy
  • Establish client and team lines of communication and timelines/project plans
  • Develop creative concepts and themes for response decks
  • Ensure proper flow, storytelling, and quality of each proposal
  • Oversee ongoing cadence of external visibility initiatives
