Summary

The Marketing Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive growth and success for clients, with a deep understanding of B2B marketing principles. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in B2B digital advertising marketing, strong communication skills, project management abilities, and proficiency in relevant software.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B digital advertising marketing in-house or in a client-facing role at a b2b focused agency
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including market research, segmentation, targeting, positioning, and the marketing mix
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas, negotiate with clients, and build strong relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and requirements
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales or performance goals
  • Strong track record of retaining and growing your book of business through a deep understanding of Metadataโ€™s suite of products and services, and how that aligns with your customersโ€™ goals
  • Proficiency in Gsuite Office Suite, marketing automation platforms (Marketo & Hubspot), and Salesforce CRM

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, target audiences, and marketing challenges
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring regular communication, proactive problem-solving, and ongoing satisfaction
  • Be the voice of the customer internally and provide product feedback to management and engineering teams
  • Track and measure the results of marketing campaigns using analytics tools and data-driven insights to optimize strategies for improved performance continuously
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Monitor and proactively flag any potential churn risks within your book of business
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with your customers/procurement teams, forecast accurately along the way, and drive renewals to close
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to develop and execute cohesive marketing initiatives
  • Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and partners
