Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing
- Eight (8) years in consumer marketing research or related areas, with direct experience with design and analysis of survey research, tracking/brand equity, or advertising research experience. Required
- Higher education research experience
- SAS/SPSS and/or other statistical package proficiency
- Working knowledge of applied statistical methods including multiple linear and nonlinear regression models, time series analysis, multidimensional scaling and mapping, nonparametric analysis, conjoint, segmentation, factor analysis, and choice based design
- Strong knowledge of quantitative research methods and statistics, database design and analysis proficiency
- Working knowledge of industry conventions in data collection and tabulation for survey research including sampling, crosstab analysis, and multivariate weighting
- Adept at questionnaire development, sample design, tab planning, analysis and reporting
- Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Access proficiency desirable but not required
Responsibilities
- Serves as lead analytics representative for institutional marketing
- Performs constant funnel performance analysis. Forms hypotheses and determines appropriate team members for analyses. Presents findings with data-driven recommendations to optimize business
- Monitors โstate of the businessโ as it pertains to marketing and new enrollment growth. Keeps stakeholders informed and aligned on what factors are driving performance levels and what can be done to address
- Tracks and organizes institutional analytics priorities. Liaises between marketing analytics function and institutional analytics
- Composes and presents regular and ad-hoc data stories. Presents to CMO and institutional leaders on a regular basis
- Leads annual planning process, capturing marketing and enrollment benchmarks necessary to meet organizational targets
- Manages multiple projects and priorities independently to support multiple internal and external clients
- Ensures timely, accurate, and appropriate application of analytical models. Leads highly complex and advanced analytical studies, including consumer and market segmentation, business driver analysis, marketing mix modeling, conjoint analysis, pricing studies, and industry/institution forecasts, etc. with manager guidance
- Synthesizes primary and secondary brand research to assist in the development of effective brand positioning and business recommendations
- Delivers data stories throughout the organization, ensuring performance clarity at all levels of the organization
- Drives continuous improvement within analytics function, sharing and adopting best practices within center of excellence
- Completes other duties as assigned
