Marketing Director

Summary

Join Kalepa as their Marketing Director and lead the development and execution of their marketing strategy. As a member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for significantly expanding all aspects of Kalepa's marketing efforts. This hands-on role requires you to be the architect, strategist, and executor of marketing initiatives, from demand generation and content creation to product marketing and branding. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, RevOps, and leadership teams. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator who can effectively convey complex information about AI and insurance. This position offers the opportunity to build and scale a marketing function, hiring contractors as needed. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking and practical execution.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of marketing experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in fintech, insurtech, or enterprise software
• Proven ability to develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategies that drive leads, pipeline, and revenue
• Exceptional writing and communication skills to translate complex ideas into compelling messaging
• Experience in demand generation, content, product marketing, events, and brand management
• Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and executive teams
• Ability to work independently and scale the function in the future
• Analytical and results-oriented approach
• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance marketing efficiency
• Passion for AI, technology, and the insurance industry

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute Kalepa's marketing strategy
• Drive 10x growth across all aspects of marketing
• Architect, strategize, and execute marketing initiatives (demand generation, content, product marketing, brand)
• Run the full marketing operation and scale the function by hiring contractors
• Partner with sales, product, RevOps, and leadership teams
• Translate complex ideas about insurance and AI into compelling messaging
