Remote Operations Coordinator

Summary

Join Second Harvest as Operations Coordinator (Alberta) and support the expansion of our food rescue operations across Alberta, developing a regional strategy, providing customer service, utilizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and cultivating relationships with local stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in the non-profit sector
• Interest in sustainability, food rescue, and hunger relief
• Able to travel to Second Harvest headquarters (Toronto) once a year for the Annual General Meeting

Responsibilities

• Develop and support a regional strategy for the ongoing expansion of Second Harvest in Alberta, collaborating with the Operations and Food Recovery and Partnerships teams
• Provide excellent customer service to our non-profit and donor network
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM to monitor and facilitate food rescue operations
• Demonstrate the Second Harvest Food Rescue App (SHFRA) to stakeholders
• Represent Second Harvest at relevant conferences and trade shows in Alberta
• Cultivate and manage relationships with local stakeholders, including visiting community partners
• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in our food recovery operations
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, take initiative and problem solve effectively
• Collaborate on special projects and new initiatives
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned to support the overall goals of the organization

• $52,000-$57,000 Per Annum Plus Benefits
