Requirements

  • Ability to thrive in environments where you can take on a wide range of tasks and jump into new challenges without hesitation
  • Proven track record of keeping things moving, managing multiple projects while staying focused on details and deadlines
  • An expert in learning the ins and outs of different business functions. You understand this role will evolve as Linear grows
  • Experienced and proficient with modern tools like Notion, Slack, and AI to make workflows more efficient
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in an operations role

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of projects as they arise
  • Manage financial operations, including processing payments and invoices
  • Assist in establishing and improving internal IT tooling and processes
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to our internal processes
  • Work with our Chief of Staff to lead compliance efforts and certifications (SOC 2, GDPR)
  • Manage the company calendar, tracking key milestones and priorities
  • Coordinate and schedule leadership meetings and team-wide events
  • Gather and share status updates from team leads
  • Handle light scheduling and calendaring for the CEO and executive team as needed
  • Keep track of and nurture important relationships with candidates, customers, and investors
  • Act as a point of contact for key relationships when appropriate
