Summary

Join GoCanvas as an Outbound Business Development Representative and play a critical role in growing our business by developing qualified leads. You will focus on prospect outreach and marketing programs to cultivate prospects. You will determine the needs of potential customers and how GoCanvas empowers their workforce. Experience in field services, professional services, construction, energy, oil and gas, or manufacturing is a plus. The position involves making 150+ dials a day, building outreach campaigns, qualifying leads, setting appointments, and working with sales leadership. This is a remote opportunity located in Canada.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized, highly self-motivated and excited about working at a fluid, fast-paced startup
  • An aggressive, effort driven mentality with the desire to promote and move into sales

Responsibilities

  • Make 150+ dials a day
  • Build and run multiple outreach campaigns for outbound leads
  • Quickly and efficiently qualify top leads and set high value appointments for Account Executives
  • Understand complex organization structures and reach out to right contacts via outbound calls, emails, and social media
  • Drive re-engagement campaigns for no-show attendees, closed lost opportunities and expired leads
  • Work with Sales leadership to refine and improve sales processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous SaaS Sales Development experience is preferred
  • Experience with popular sales tools (Salesforce, Orum, Salesloft, Outreach, ZoomInfo etc.) a plus
