Summary
Join the fast-growing Finance and Supply Chain Workflow team at ServiceNow and help shape the future of business processes like source-to-pay. This Outbound Product Management role is highly collaborative, working with various teams including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Outcomes. You will be the voice of the customer, developing product strategy, driving go-to-market activities, and creating partnerships. The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating AI into work processes and a strong background in outbound product management or product marketing within a relevant field. This role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to present to large audiences and work cross-functionally.
Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
- Be comfortable and thrive presenting to large audiences as well as be able to go-deep 1:1 with customers
- Think strategically, learn fast and communicate with impact
- Have demonstrated past experience defining paths to market for new products, applications or features as well as the successful execution of that go to market strategy
- Have experience creating engaging and educating content. Types of content could include, but is not limited to, presentations, datasheets, whitepapers, infographics, and videos
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Have demonstrated the ability to solve complex problems
- Be able to translate highly complex and detailed information into clear, salient, and digestible points
Responsibilities
- Be the Voice of the Customer: Build relationships with customers through early adopter programs, executive briefings, and more to understand their pain-points and vision. Demo and present at conferences and sales calls. Champion the customer to the rest of the product management, sales and marketing organization to influence strategic direction of the business
- Develop Product Strategy: Evaluate competitive and market data to develop a point of view on product priorities. Write business cases for investments and deliver these insights in senior level management meetings
- Drive Go to Market Activities: Work cross functionally with marketing, sales and the rest of the go-to-market team to define and execute release delivery plans for existing and new products. Develop core positioning and collateral for the product including enablement and training materials
- Create and Grow Partnerships: Work alongside inbound peers, and our partner org to evaluate and form technical and strategic partnerships which further the product teamโs goals. Brief analysts to ensure comprehensive understanding of the productโs market position
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of overall experience and 5+ years of outbound product management or product marketing experience in Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, or a related function, is preferred.
