Summary

Join Employment Hero as a Partner Marketing Manager for a 12-month maternity leave contract, focusing on growing our partner program in Australia and New Zealand. This crucial role involves developing and executing go-to-market strategies, creating marketing materials, crafting tailored strategies for different verticals, managing partner communications, and collaborating with the Partner Sales team. You will also work closely with the global partner marketing team to ensure alignment with the overarching partner program strategy. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in building and growing partner channels, is comfortable working directly with partners, and possesses strong communication and analytical skills. This role is remote-first and offers flexibility to own your time and impact.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working with partners directly and being a positive and outgoing face of Employment Hero for our partners
  • 6+ years of relevant partner marketing experience, ideally within a fast-paced, B2B industry (tech, SaaS, and startups a plus)
  • Proven experience growing a partner channel through marketing activities (paid social & search, brand building, events, co-marketing, community building, etc.) and working with a range of partners from new to established
  • Hands-on experience with building email campaigns and utilising marketing tools and CRM management platforms, especially Marketo and Salesforce
  • A highly analytical and metrics-orientated approach to marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and has high attention to detail
  • Experience running events like large conference and tradeshow booths, roundtables, webinars, etc
  • Comfortable testing and iterating on campaigns and running A/B tests
  • Analytical skills and be data-driven in your thinking, and be proficient in reporting campaign effectiveness end-to-end
  • A creative problem solver and critical thinker, with great attention to detail
  • Comfortable and confident surfacing opportunities, explaining your ideas, taking briefs, and participating in brainstorming sessions
  • Able to work autonomously in a “remote first” work environment and to agreed deadlines
  • Willingness to take ownership of the strategy and execution and be in the driver’s seat
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to report on success

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy in collaboration with the Partnerships Team for 2026, aimed at achieving their objectives - including both new partner acquisition and generating partner-qualified leads from enabling existing partners
  • Own the conception and delivery of impactful GTM materials such as live and digital events, tradeshows (both owned and third-party), digital content (e.g., blogs, guides, webinars), joint marketing assets, case studies, and tailored onboarding experiences
  • Craft tailored marketing strategies for acquiring partners in different verticals by understanding our ideal partner profile, refining messaging, and identifying strategies that drive growth and deliver on key objectives
  • Own the execution of monthly partner newsletters and monthly partner webinars to keep partners informed and updated on product updates and news
  • Work closely with the Partner Sales team to drive strategic activities with key partners, including designing and executing co-branded campaigns with partners to drive awareness, leads, and revenue
  • Manage and nurture the ANZ partner community through our digital partner community platform, fostering engagement and collaboration
  • Provide tools and create resources to ensure partners effectively promote the company’s products
  • Support partner onboarding processes with tailored marketing materials and kick-off campaigns
  • Report on partner marketing performance in Quarterly Business Reviews, showcasing key wins, insights, and measurable business impact
  • Focus on high-impact, strategic initiatives by rigorously prioritising activities that will drive the fastest growth and most significant outcomes for the Partner Program, while maintaining budget efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in marketing or a related field (desired)
  • Experience working with key verticals like Accountancy and Bookkeeping firms, HR Consultants and IT Resellers is a plus
