Requirements
- 6+ years total work experience in partner management, account management, or customer success, with a strong focus on enterprise clients
- 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
- Deep understanding of the accounting firm landscape, including their business models, challenges, and technology needs
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills β you're a relationship builder!
- Empathic communication (especially listening) skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities β you're a strategic thinker
- Ability to quickly learn our product and become a credible advisor to partners
- Work collaboratively but autonomously: asking for what you need, but not expecting micromanagement

- Experience with CRM and Success software (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau) and Learning Management Systems

Responsibilities
- Build deep relationships with key stakeholders at large accounting firms to ensure they maximize GustoPro's value
- Manage onboarding and provide tailored training to partners at large firms, focusing on their specific needs and workflows
- Develop and execute strategies to increase GustoPro adoption and engagement across large accounting firms. This includes collaborating with partner firms to develop co-branded content, case studies, and other resources that showcase successful GustoPro implementations and best practices
- Provide expert guidance to senior leadership at prominent firms on strategically leveraging GustoPro for operational efficiency and growth
- Partner closely with the Enterprise Account Management team to develop joint success plans for shared clients, ensuring seamless onboarding, ongoing support, and identification of expansion opportunities
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to address partner needs and provide feedback on product development
- Track key metrics for large firm partnerships and develop strategies to optimize performance and ROI
- Represent the voice of GustoPro partners within Gusto, ensuring their feedback influences product and service improvements
- Contribute to the development of tailored partner programs for large accounting firms to enhance success and strengthen the GustoPro ecosystem
- Maintain deep knowledge of the accounting industry, regulations, and GustoPro's evolving features
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience working closely with sales teams is preferred
Benefits
- Our target on-target earnings (OTE) compensation for this role is $145,000/yr to $178,000/yr in Denver & most remote locations, and $171,000/yr to $209,000/yr for San Francisco & New York
- This OTE is structured with a target 80% base pay and 20% commission pay with an uncapped commission structure
- Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City
- Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role)
- When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required
