Summary

Join Vanta as a Payroll Specialist and play a key role in processing payroll and ensuring compliance for all employees. You will partner with the payroll team, supporting payroll operations, data entry, and processing to guarantee accurate and timely payments. This role requires 3+ years of multi-state US payroll processing experience, strong multistate tax and payroll compliance knowledge, and experience with ADP Workforce NOW and various HRIS systems. Requirements

  • 3+ years experience processing multi state US payroll
  • Strong multistate tax and payroll compliance experience
  • Experience using ADP Workforce NOW and various HRIS

Responsibilities

  • Assist with full-cycle US payroll processing and assist with exempt and non exempt payroll transactions on a periodic basis
  • Assist with internal/external payroll audits and compliance reporting including 401(k) and Workers Compensation
  • Ensure the processing of off-cycle payments for terminations by timely preparing and administering final checks within state regulatory guidelines
  • Process manual tax adjustments, quarter-end adjustments, and year-end adjustments
  • Assists with reconciling W-2's
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement of payroll operations
  • Assist and drive internal service level agreements for employee and internal business partner payroll inquiries
  • Process employee reimbursements ensuring compliance with company policies
