Summary
Join OpenX as a People Business Partner and drive employee engagement and professional growth through strategic talent initiatives. You will partner with various teams globally, focusing on organizational development, workforce planning, and coaching leaders. Responsibilities include managing employee relations, providing HR expertise, improving processes, and ensuring compliance. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of HR experience, and strong strategic, consulting, and communication skills. Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Effectiveness, or related fields
- Minimum 3-5 years in an HR/People Business Partner role, including experience with strategic consultation, change management, coaching, employee relations, compensation, performance management, talent planning, and learning and development
- Demonstrated ability to connect talent initiatives to broader business goals
- Experience consulting in a complex, matrixed organization supporting multi-site operations
- Solid experience with core HR domains, including performance management, organizational design, talent management, compensation, and employee relations with a DEIB focus
- Strong ethical standards, customer service orientation, and collaborative work style
- Effective coaching and facilitation skills with the ability to influence colleagues at all organizational levels to embrace inclusive practices and create belonging
- Experience helping global and/or highly matrixed organizations scale while addressing the unique needs of diverse teams
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable talent solutions
- Experience analyzing survey or program data and turning insights into actionable improvements
- Familiarity with HRIS and talent management systems; proficiency in data analysis is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 10% globally based on client needs
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key People Partner supporting various teams across multiple global locations to develop an understanding of business operations and objectives, ensuring people priorities and activities are strategically aligned with organizational needs and DEIB goals
- Partner with stakeholders to address employee and business needs, focusing on organizational design, change leadership, talent management and equitable access to opportunities
- Support the design and delivery of targeted solutions emphasizing scale and growth, including strategic planning, talent assessment, change management, and team building
- Provide strategic workforce planning by optimizing organizational design to increase productivity, foster inclusion and improve business performance
- Act as an executive coach for key clients and leaders, holding them accountable to inclusive leadership behaviors and fostering equitable team dynamics
- Lead with empathy and embody OpenXโs traits of being humble, driven, and smart
- Actively promote a culture of belonging through human-centered practices, ensuring every interaction and decision reflects our commitment to workplace equity and the personal and professional growth for all employees
- Proactively assess team, manager, and organizational development needs, implementing solutions that support equitable career progression, inclusive leadership and a culture of belonging
- Consult with managers and employees regarding career development, leadership, retention, and engagement to drive continuous improvement and growth
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues by conducting thorough and objective investigations and producing effective solutions
- Provide counsel and guidance on complex employee matters
- Provide expertise in compensation, feedback, performance management, employee relations, development and coaching, and organizational development while upholding equitable and inclusive practices
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on job offers and hiring needs, ensuring pay equity within supported areas
- Recommend, develop, and implement new HR processes as required to support business growth
- Facilitate performance management and talent processes, including consulting with managers, data management and reporting, and technical support
- Review, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies in partnership with the People Operations and internal/external Legal teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a technology organization or start-up, adtech experience is a deep advantage!
