Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a HR or administrative role
- Proficiency with Google suite of applications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strict adherence to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update key personnel tracking platforms to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist with benefits administration and time-off tracking for our Canadian and global teams
- Assist with onboarding processes, including new hire emails, and necessary paperwork
- Support the People Acquisition team with scheduling interviews and facilitating communication with candidates and hiring managers
- Ensure HR activities comply with local province/labor laws and company policies
- Help organize team-building events, employee recognition programs and other engagement initiatives
- Act as a resource for employees by addressing basic inquiries and directing them to appropriate resources
