Summary

Join Teach For All as a People Operations Associate and support a global community of changemakers. You will be responsible for managing international payroll and benefits, maintaining employee data, and contributing to a positive work environment. This role involves collaborating with a global team, processing invoices, reconciling leave information, and supporting various administrative tasks. You will also assist with data requests, draft communications, and conduct right-to-work checks. The ideal candidate possesses 2-4 years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience (HR admin experience is preferred)
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office applications and GSuite
  • Intermediate Excel skills (filters, pivot tables, Vlookup etc.) required
  • Detail orientation, experience in record keeping and ensuring consistency
  • Reliable; strong executor and ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills, happy to offer behind the scenes support to the team
  • Quick learner - they should be able to learn how our systems work quickly
  • Demonstrates good judgement and instinct while having access to handling sensitive information
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of work
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, dynamic, and globally dispersed team environment
  • Team player and open to working flexibly with a small team tackling various shifting priorities
  • Possess local permanent work authorization/permit

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a global team to track and maintain key information related to international payroll submissions, salary changes, and employment updates
  • Fully manage the monthly international payroll invoice submissions on our financial systems (Concur) and associated processes (approximately 40 complex invoices per month)
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to global benefit vendors by processing and posting invoices
  • Reconcile annual leave information for staff members based on various local payroll requirements
  • Maintain Staff pages/Organizational chart based on latest changes. Identify missing information and draft communications for follow up
  • Create and maintain the annual public holiday schedule for all our locations of hire
  • Support with ad hoc People Ops administrative tasks as needed, including but not limited to – additional invoice processing on the finance system, creating monthly updates email for key operations team members, folder creation, archiving, maintaining integrity of employment data
  • Assist with data requests for regulatory and audit filings
  • Support team with HR draft communications, such as employment verification letters, visa support letters
  • Conduct Right to work checks for new incoming staff members in the UK
  • Support with Staff member linked requests - business card ordering, staff celebrations, etc
  • Manage team celebrations (birthdays, years of service anniversaries, etc) to foster a positive and appreciative work environment
  • Coordinate team calls, check-ins, and annual planning meetings, ensuring agendas and follow-up are handled effectively
