Summary
Join Zeotap's People & Culture team as a People Operations specialist and contribute to the success of this growing tech start-up. Based in Europe, you will be the first point of contact for employees, handling payroll, employee lifecycle administration, onboarding/offboarding, and maintaining the employee management system. You will also support process development projects and contribute creative ideas. This role requires 2-3 years of experience in people operations or HR, excellent communication skills in English and German, attention to detail, and a solutions-oriented approach. Requirements
- You have min. 2-3 years experience in people operations or general HR role
- You have an eye for a detail and love for structure
- You have excellent communication skills in English & German , both verbally and in writing
- You have a strong interest in learning and growing your knowledge in the HR field across different European locations
- You are self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively
- You are solutions-oriented, focused on problem solving and improving processes
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset / can-do and hands-on mentality and are able to very quickly adapt to changing circumstances
- A high degree of creativity and communication skills are essential
Responsibilities
- You will be the first point of contact for employees across Europe and support them on all people-related questions/ concerns
- You will be in charge of the pay rolls for our four European locations , that we are currently transitioning to a global payroll provider together with external support
- You will be responsible together with the team for all administrative topics in the life cycle of an employee such as work contracts, contract changes, references, absences, visa applications, internal guidelines, employment confirmations, terminations, resignation confirmations, correspondence with various partners (health insurance companies, HR service providers), etc
- You will take full ownership in arranging a professional smooth on-and offboarding for all employees and ensure our people have a good experience during that time
- You will support the team with maintenance of the employee management system (Personio) , ensuring correct information tracking and reporting
- You will get the chance to take ownership of projects and tasks coming from our PeopleTeam
- You will get the chance to contribute to our process development projects in order to improve our day-to-day workflows and products and bring in lots of your creative ideas
Preferred Qualifications
You ideally hold a degree with a focus in Human Resources, Communications ,Management, Psychology, Business Administration or related, or completed vocational training in the Human Resources field with the suitable additional qualifications (“Personalfachkauffrau/mann” or similar)
