People Operations Specialist

Summary

Join Turing as a People Operations Specialist to act as Mission Control for all routines and processes that involve employee data; ensuring a smooth takeoff and touch down every time. The ideal candidate is comfortable with quickly handling routine tasks with precision and accuracy, while also being flexible enough to adapt and maintain SOPs on a consistent basis.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Finance, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred
• Experience: 5 - 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years focused on HR systems and operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management and optimization of HR systems, ensuring seamless integration between the platforms Turing uses such as HiBob, Deel, ADP, and Jira
• Maintain SOPs, and create when needed, for the People Operations Team, while proactively finding ways to improve existing processes
• Create and provide the team with regular updates to the people metrics dashboard. Conduct regular audits of employee data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including GDPR, SOC II & HIPAA standards
• Audit monthly benefits enrollments and invoices from multiple vendors across different countries to ensure accuracy
• Manage the People Team’s main Jira Ticket System, assigning and tracking tickets within the team as needed to ensure fast response times and a positive employee experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with implementing or integrating at least one HR system such as HiBob, Workday, or Rippling
• Prior experience with HiBob is a huge plus
• Experience as a manager or team lead is a plus
• Experience with US Benefits and / or Total Rewards a plus
• Familiarity with compliance and employment laws in multiple regions, particularly in India and Brazil
