Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant People Partner or HRBP experience, with a total of 8+ years in HR roles, ideally in a startup and remote/hybrid work environment
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate complex employee relations issues and drive positive outcomes
  • Experience in driving cultural initiatives and achieving measurable engagement goals
  • Strong project management skills that balance strategic thinking with detail orientation, and the ability to communicate clearly and adapt your approach based on the situation
  • Background in HR operations including (but not limited to) any of the following: benefits, compensation benchmarking analysis, compliance, employee relations, HR analytics, leave management, off-boarding, payroll management, policy creation

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a proactive, high-quality performance management process, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Handle sensitive and confidential employee relations issues, working towards positive outcomes for all parties involved
  • Drive cultural initiatives such as offsites and engagement surveys against clearly defined goals and objectives
  • Develop and execute training and development plans to enhance employee growth and organizational effectiveness
  • Act as an HR Business Partner, providing support and guidance to individual contributors, managers, and executives
  • Maintain working knowledge of compliance, leave management, benefits, and payroll processes
  • Collaborate with the broader people team on core HR functions relevant to Vivian Health
